About catalog
With catalog, you can explore courses in a particular subject area, find courses to participate in, and identify new contents to a specific area. Catalog appears on the main page of a course. You can click on a catalog name to see more related content, and/or a list of more courses classified within that catalog.
To browse the most used catalog, go to https://classgalaxy.com/discover/.
You can participate in ClassGalaxy’s set of featured catalog in the explore class.
Class admins can add any catalog to a class. Helpful catalogs to classify a class include the class’s intended purpose, subject area, community, or language. Additionally, ClassGalaxy analyzes public class content and generates suggested catalog that class admins can accept or reject. Private class content is not analyzed and does not receive catalog suggestions.
Public and private courses can have catalog, although you will only see private courses that you have access to in catalog search results.
