Renaming a class

You can rename a class if you're either an organization owner or have admin permissions for the class.

When you rename a class, all existing information, with the exception of class site URLs, is automatically redirected to the new name, including:

  • Exercises
  • Articles
  • Likes
  • Followers

Warning: If you create a new class under your account in the future, do not reuse the same class name. If you do, redirects to the new class will break.

  1. On ClassGalaxy, navigate to the Settings page of the class.
  2. Under your class name, click Settings.
  3. Under the Class Name heading, type the new name of your class.
  4. Click Rename. You’re done!
