Create a course

To put your contents/resources up on ClassGalaxy, you'll need to create a course for it to live in.

You can create a variety of courses on ClassGalaxy and the courses can be public. With public courses, you can share content with all learners.

Create your first class / course

  1. In the upper-right corner of any page, use the drop-down menu, and select Create course.
  2. Choose either “Instructor Lead Class (Hybrid)” or “Self-paced Course (Online)”
  3. Type a short, memorable name for your course. For example, “hello-ClassGalaxy”.
  4. Add a description of your course. For example, “My first course on ClassGalaxy.”
  5. Choose a course visbility, “Public”, or “Private”.
  6. Click Create course.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully created your first course.

  1. On the first page of your course, you can consider using this page as your course’s Class/Course Homepage.
  2. Duble click this page’s empty space, and you can add this course’s information, such as syllabus, roster, schedules, and etc.
  3. You can edit the course’s title and description by double clicking on it.
