Managing course settings

Class administrators and organization owners can make changes to multiple settings, including the names and ownership of a class and the public or private visibility of a class. They can also remove a class.

  • Setting class visibility→ You have the authority to decide who can view your class.

  • Managing access to your class→ You can see everyone who has access to your class and adjust permissions when needed.

  • Classifying your class with catalog→ To advocate for your class and help people search and participate in your course, you can add topics to your class related to your course’s intended purpose, subject area, affinity groups, or other important qualities.

  • Renaming a course→ You can rename a course if you’re either an organization owner or have admin permissions for the course.

  • Transferring a course→ You can transfer courses to other users or organization accounts.

  • Deleting a course→ You can delete any class if you’re either an organization owner or have admin permissions for the class or duplication.
